Senator Chapin Applauds Andrew Roraback’s Appointment to Superior Court

Hartford – State Senator Clark Chapin (R-30) applauded the state legislature’s overwhelming support for former State Senator Andrew Roraback’s appointment to serve as a judge on the Connecticut Superior Court.

“As the new State Senator of the 30th Senate District, I am proud to vote in support of Andrew Roraback’s nomination to the Superior Court,” said State Senator Clark Chapin. “For nearly two decades, Andrew has honorably served the people of northwest Connecticut, and I am pleased that he will have the opportunity to continue this public service as a judge.”

Senator Chapin voted in favor of Roraback’s appointment on the floor of the State Senate on Wednesday, March 6th.

“During this time, he has proven to be an important role model for other legislators as was illustrated in the overwhelming bipartisan support for his nomination,” continued Senator Chapin. “I am pleased that Connecticut residents will continue to benefit from his valuable experience and unique understanding of the judicial system.”

Former State Senator Andrew Roraback, of Goshen, will serve an eight-year term in succession to the Honorable Barbara J. Sheedy. He previously served 12 years as State Senator of the 30th District and as State Representative of the 64th Assembly District from 1994 to 2000.
