On March 5, Sen. Art Linares provided a State Capitol update to about 40 taxpayers who gathered at Haddam Fire Station #1 in Higganum.

The 90-minute forum allowed taxpayers to ask Sen. Linares about issues such as taxes, state spending and public safety. Sen. Linares updated residents on the state budget situation and discussed his pro-business legislative proposals which are geared at spurring the economy and creating jobs.
