Sen. Art Linares, Rep. Tom Vicino to Meet With Teachers from Clinton and Westbrook
March 19, 2013From 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, Sen. Art Linares and Rep. Tom Vicino will meet for coffee and conversation with teachers from Clinton and Westbrook.
The meeting will take place at Malone’s Coffee House, 10 West Main Street, Clinton.
Among the attendees will be Laraine Scherban, a retired teacher who served for many years in the Clinton Public School system.
“We look forward to talking about education issues with area teachers,” Sen. Linares said. “Please spread the word and stop by Malone’s.”
“We look forward to joining Laraine Scherban to talk about state policies which impact education,” Rep. Vicino said. “These conversations are informative and productive, and we take your ideas and bring them to Hartford.”
Sen. Linares represents the 33rd Senate District, which includes Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland, and Westbrook.
Rep. Vicino represents the 35th Assembly District of Clinton, Killingworth and Westbrook.
