Among those who spoke to the business leaders was Sen. Art Linares. Linares, who serves on the legislature’s Commerce Committee, has proposed several pro-business bills, including a measure that would eliminate the state’s business entity tax. Linares, who co-founded his own small business at age 19, encouraged the business leaders to contact him with any concerns or ideas at [email protected] or at 800 842 1421.
