(photo) Gillette Castle Actors Meet Sen. Art Linares at State Capitol

Sen. Art Linares (center) welcomed Theodora Niver (left) and Harold Niver (right) to the State Capitol on March 20. Theodora and Harold tour the country playing the roles of Helen and William Gillette. The Gillettes were famous actors who portrayed the life and times of Sherlock Holmes. The Nivers’ perform “Sherlock Holmes: Fact or Fiction” for libraries, schools, book groups, and they often greet visitors at Gillette Castle. The Nivers, who are residents of Rocky Hill, visited the State Capitol on March 20 along with dozens of other organizations and volunteers who represent Connecticut state parks and tourist sites.
