Sen. Art Linares Named to Long Island Sound Panel

Sen Art Linares, pictured in the Senate Chamber of the State Capitol, has been appointed to serve on the Central Long Island Sound Advisory Council.

Sen. Art Linares (R-Westbrook) has been appointed to the Central Long Island Sound Advisory Council.

The panel focuses on the concerns of citizens and organizations for the future of Long Island Sound. It also hears recommendations for improving the biological integrity of and public access to Long Island Sound.

The Central Long Island Sound Advisory Council serves the towns of Madison, Guilford, Branford, East Haven, North Haven, Hamden, New Haven, West Haven and Orange.
