FREE ADMISSION FOR MILITARY VETERANS & ACTIVE PERSONNEL

Hartford, CT. – This Thursday, January 3 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., Holiday Light Fantasia in Hartford will say “thank you” to the men and women who have served or are serving our country in the U.S. military by offering FREE admission to all veterans and active service personnel.

To enter for free, troops should show one of the following as proof of military service:

  • Government-issued military identification card
  • A Veterans Administration Universal Access i.d. card
  • A membership card in a veterans organization

All others are invited to attend as well at the event’s regular admission fees (see below).

The illuminated drive-through show is open nightly through this Sunday, January 6, 2013 (Three Kings Day)

Regular hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Since November, thousands have enjoyed a dazzling collection of more than 1 million lights along a two-mile drive through Goodwin Park, 1130 Maple Ave. in the South end of Hartford, Conn.

Presented by the Law Offices of Trantolo & Trantolo to benefit the Channel 3 Kids Camp, admission is just $12 per car, $25 for limos, $50 for mini-buses, and $100 for full-size buses.

Holiday Light Fantasia not only shares seasonal cheer, but helps to welcome thousands of children from Connecticut and New England to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Your participation will make it possible for all children to attend camp regardless of economic, physical or developmental ability.
