Hartford – State Senator Kevin Witkos (R-8) welcomed a group of Cub Scouts from Pack 77 of Canton to the State Capitol on Thursday, November 15th.

“I always enjoy meeting with constituents, and this was an excellent opportunity to share the importance of public service with some of the younger members of our community,” said Senator Kevin Witkos. “Our children are the future, and the scouts are an organization that that helps to develop important skills, such as leadership, responsibility and self-reliance.”

Senator Witkos accompanied the scouts during a tour of the Capitol and Legislative Office Building.

“It is my hope that these young leaders will take something meaningful home with them from this visit,” continued Senator Witkos.
