Bethel:
Some major roads with wires and trees down. Trouble Spots: Reservoir Street, Old Hawleyville Road by Christy Street, Codfish Hill Road by Jacklin Street, Plumtrees Road between Walnut and Taylor roads, Route 58 by Route 302 and Buckboard Road.

 Emergency shelter at the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center with hot showers. Residents should bring own pillows, blankets, toiletries and personal medications. Pets are welcome.
 
Danbury:

New Fairfield:
More than 50 roads remain partly or completely closed because of downed trees and wires.  High school open for meals, showers, water, cell phone charging, overnight stays.  
 
Sherman:
Widespread power outages, roads blocked. Trouble Spots: Spring Lake Road, Chimney Hill Road, Pepper Pond Road, Green Pond Road.  Shelter in Sherman School open until 11:00 pm.
