Fairfield, CT – State Senate Minority Leader John McKinney (R-28) will be joined by state representatives Brenda Kupchick (R-132), Kim Fawcett (D-133), and Tony Hwang (R-134) to host a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, June 13th from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at the Pequot Library located at 720 Pequot Avenue in Fairfield. All Fairfield residents are invited to attend.

The General Assembly is scheduled to convene in special session on Tuesday, June 12th and Wednesday’s Town Hall Meeting will begin with a brief report on legislative action taken during the special session. The remainder of the meeting will be devoted to answering questions from Fairfield residents on matters pertaining to state government.

“This town hall will serve as an end-of-session report to the Town of Fairfield and an opportunity for residents to ask questions or voice concerns about new legislation and its potential impact,” said Senator McKinney. “The General Assembly has passed several sweeping changes to taxes and state programs in the past two years; some I support and some I don’t. This forum will give us an opportunity to discuss what is working, what isn’t and what changes need to be made.”
