Simsbury – State Senator Kevin Witkos (R-8) hosted a town hall meeting to provide a legislative update and answer questions from constituents at Eno Memorial Hall on Thursday, May 24th.

“This meeting was an excellent opportunity to meet with constituents to discuss their thoughts and concerns about legislation,” said Senator Kevin Witkos. “Over the past three months, the General Assembly voted on hundreds of bills, and I want to make sure that you can learn more about what passed and what did not.”

Senator Witkos joined constituents to discuss the 2012 legislative session, including the state budget, Sunday sales of alcohol, education reform, repeal of the death penalty and other issues.

“If you could not attend this event, I encourage you to reach out and share your thoughts with me,” continued Senator Witkos.
