Sen. Welch to Help Honor Vets at Bristol Stop & Shop May 12

From 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 12, State Sen. Jason Welch, Bristol State Rep. Frank Nicastro and representatives from the Bristol Veterans Council will be stationed outside of the Stop & Shop at 597 Farmington Ave (Rte 6) selling veteran cemetery monument flag holders.

“With Memorial Day fast approaching, we look forward to seeing many area residents,” Welch said. “Stop by, say hello and help us to honor our veterans.”

Both Welch and Nicastro serve on the legislature’s Select Committee on Veterans Affairs.

Welch represents Bristol, Plainville, Plymouth and Harwinton.
