Senator Kelly Congratulates Student of the Month in Monroe

Monroe – State Senator Kevin C. Kelly (R-21) joined members of the Rotary Club of Monroe and local town officials for the presentation of the Student of the Month award to Michael Coyne on Thursday, March 29th.

“I congratulate sophomore Michael Coyne on being named Student of the Month at Masuk High School,” said Senator Kelly. “Through his dedication and hard work, Michael demonstrates the talents and skills necessary to succeed in whatever he decides to pursue in the future.”

Michael Coyne has been a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and the tennis team for two years. He has also been a member of the Spanish Club, Interact Club and Panther Leaders for one year. Also in attendance at the meeting were Monroe First Selectman Steve Vavrek and Rotary Club President Jesse Trevino.
