State Senator Jason Welch and State Rep. Whit Betts held a successful toy drive at the Bristol Wal-Mart on Dec. 3.

The Bristol legislators collected dozens of unwrapped toys for distribution by the Christian Fellowship Center Storehouse of Bristol to needy children in the community.

The CFC Storehouse is a vital resource for Bristol and surrounding towns. It provides free groceries from the food pantry, hot meals from the soup kitchen, clothing and household items. For more information, visit www.cfcstorehouse.org .

“Rep. Betts and I are very grateful to the community for their generous donations,” Sen. Welch said. “These gifts will brighten the holidays for so many young people in greater Bristol.”
