November 16, 2011

Hartford – State Senator Kevin Witkos (R-8) was recently awarded an overall legislative score of 100% by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters based on the votes he cast on bills that affect the environment. Senator Witkos was one of only nine senators to be given the 100% score.

“During my time in the legislature, I have always been supportive of measures that seek to protect or improve our environment,” said Senator Witkos. “This year, I supported numerous environmental initiatives that will better our state. I am honored to receive this recognition by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, and I will continue to vote in favor of smart legislation that protects not only the environment but our health as well.”
