State Senator Len Fasano’s Statement Against $300 million Jackson Lab Deal

State Senator Len Fasano (R-North Haven):

“I’m not against making a deal. I’m not against incentives for business. But this is not my money and I want more details before signing off on a $300 million loan in taxpayer dollars. We are the custodians, the protectors of other people’s money. I need to be able to look into the face of my constituents and say, ‘yes we did take a small risk because this is the upside and this is the downside and you are protected’. But I can’t because I don’t know what was promised to Jackson Labs.”
