Stamford Transportation Center Garage – Construction Alert

To all of you who use the parking garage at the Stamford Transportation Center, there will be ongoing construction that will commence Monday, September 19th and be completed before winter.

The garage will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the duration of the project, but please note that some parking spaces will be temporarily closed. Please also anticipate internal traffic pattern changes once inside the garage. All entry and exit portals will be open and available for use, as normal. As crews complete work, areas will be re-opened and others closed during overnight periods. Please afford extra travel time and observe any posted construction signage at all times.

Although the total number of parking spaces in the garage will be reduced slightly during this project, provisions are in place to accommodate all prepaid, Monthly Permit Holders. Also, in most circumstances daily parking will continue to be available for non-permit holders, but based on project requirements and existing permit holder demand, there is no guarantee that non-permit holders will be offered a parking space on any given day.
