WCSU Student Completes Legislative Internship in Sen. McLachlan’s Office

In a May 12 ceremony at the State Capitol, State Senator Michael McLachlan congratulated Carmel Lynn on her successful completion of her legislative internship. Lynn, a resident of Salem, CT, is a History major at Western Connecticut State University. As an intern in McLachlan’s office, Lynn gained a greater knowledge of the legislative process and a greater sense of civic duty and responsibility. McLachlan presented Lynn with an official citation praising her efforts during a ceremony before the full Senate.
