On May 6, State Senator Jason Welch appeared on WTIC 1080’s “State & Church” program, taking questions from listeners for an hour during afternoon drive time. Senator Welch discussed the Republican budget plan, which calls for no tax hikes and deep spending cuts. He also spoke about his experiences as a first-term legislator at the State Capitol, where he represents Bristol, Plainville, Plymouth and Harwinton.
