Wolcott Town Hall Open Dialogue

Wolcott, CT – More than 20 people turned out for a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday April 5th co-hosted by Senator Joe Markley (R-16) and Representative Rob Sampson (R-80).

The lawmakers gave a power point presentation explaining the state budget deficit and possible solutions to the Governor’s proposed tax increases. Residents took the opportunity to ask questions of the lawmakers and the result was a great open dialogue on how to work toward spending cuts, instead of increasing the burden on taxpayers.
