Senator Kissel Welcomes Mother-Daughter Pageant Winners on Senator Kissel and Friends

During a recent taping of “Sen. Kissel and Friends”, Sen. Kissel was joined by (from left) Susan Marcotte and Shelly Carbone. Marcotte ran for Ms. Senior Connecticut last year – and was named First Runner Up. Carbone, who is Marcotte’s daughter and an Enfield native, is the reigning Mrs. America. Marcotte and Carbone promoted the 2011 Ms. Senior Connecticut Pageant, which will be held May 14th at Asnuntuck Community College. The pageant highlights “mind, body, spirit” and aims to inspire seniors to be the best they can be. The current Ms. Senior Connecticut Gwendolyn Quezaire-Presutti, along with Ms. Senior Connecticut Pageant Co-directors Joyce Keating and Ruth Porcello, also appeared on Sen. Kissel’s show.
