Sen. Welch, Rep. Betts Host Town Hall Meeting at Bristol’s Edgewood School

Sen. Jason Welch (left) and Rep. Whit Betts (holding microphone) address a crowd of more than 75 people who attended a “Town Hall Meeting” on Monday night (March 21) at the Edgewood School in Bristol. For more than an hour, the Bristol legislators fielded questions from area residents about the state budget. Welch and Betts stressed the need to cut state spending and to eliminate unfunded state mandates which burden local budgets.
