The Bristol Boys & Girls Club held its annual legislative breakfast at the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 30. BBGC members and staff had the opportunity to speak to Bristol state legislators, and legislators had the opportunity to congratulate BBGC’s 2011 Youth of the Year, Adam Otero. Otero, 17, has logged 150 volunteer hours this year and works every Monday afternoon at the club, serving as a mentor and promoting leadership and service experience for teens aged 14 to 18. Otero will attend Pace University in the fall.
