State Senator John A. Kissel (R-7) recently attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Hartford Hospital Healthcare Center. The opening of this 28,000 square foot facility located on Hazard Avenue in Enfield will bring new jobs and more accessible healthcare options to our region.

The facility, run by Hartford Hospital, houses Jefferson Radiology which is already up and running, as well as Hartford Medical Group which is slated to open in early December.

“I am pleased to have been a part of today’s celebration,” said Senator Kissel. “The opening of this healthcare facility not only provides increased medical options, but also the potential for new jobs and business which is exactly what our economy needs.”

Once fully operational, the healthcare center will provide residents with a women’s health clinic and patient education center. It will also house satellite offices for Connecticut Surgical Group, Eastern Rehabilitation Network, Clinical Laboratory Partners and VNA healthcare.
