Paving Project I-95 Northbound from New York State Line to Exit 8 Greenwich/Stamford Scheduled to be Completed Week of July 19th

I hope that this update for those of you traveling I-95 is helpful:

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is scheduled to complete on July 19 the milling and resurfacing project on I-95 (northbound) from the New York State Line to Exit 8 in Greenwich/Stamford, which began on May 6, 2010.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns are being utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is Sunday – Thursday evenings, 9:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are also advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
