Sen. McLachlan Presents Key Club Awards

Hartford, CT- State Senator Michael McLachlan on Friday, April 30th, attended the “Kiwanis for Kids Breakfast” to honor area youth who have excelled academically or athletically, displayed leadership skills, and volunteered in their communities.

Sen. McLachlan, who as a student served on the Danbury High School Key Club and as Governor of the New England District of Key Clubs International, presented Student of the Year awards and Governor’s citations. “This is a great group of young adults,” said Sen. McLachlan. “Their character and integrity shine through in the way they have reached out to their communities and excelled in school. It was an honor to participate in this event and I look forward to seeing these young people continue to succeed.”
