Senator Kissel Engages Wireless Industry

This legislative session, I proposed a bill regarding warranties on defective cell phones. Through this process, I have learned a great deal about the cell phone industry and the programs that are offered to wireless customers. I was informed that they will assist consumers with the manufacturer’s warranty and often get a replacement for a warranty covered problem quicker through their voluntary programs.

I met extensively with all the major carriers in Connecticut and they have pledged to be a resource to me and my constituents.
