Public Meeting on the Q Bridge Project, January 14th

January 13, 2010

No doubt you are aware of the massive construction project taking place along I-95 in the areas surrounding the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge (Q Bridge). Since 2000, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has been overseeing the operational, safety and capacity upgrades to more than 7 miles of I-95 between Exit 46 and Exit 54. The project also includes the construction of a new Q Bridge.

Like many of you, I travel over the Q Bridge virtually every day – sometimes three or four times a day. I know all of this important work is affecting your day-to-day routine and with that in mind, I am hosting an informational forum with officials from the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT). At the forum DOT officials will be on hand to answer your questions and address your concerns about the project and how the construction will continue to affect your daily routine.

The forum will be held:

Thursday, January 14th, 2010
6:30 p.m.
East Haven Senior Center
91 Taylor Avenue
East Haven, CT

If you’d like more information on the project visit: www.i95newhaven.com

I look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, if you have any questions on this or any matter relating to state government, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at 800.842.1421 or via email at [email protected].
