Sen. Len Fasano to Host Energy Forum in Wallingford

August 21, 2008

State Senator Len Fasano (R-North Haven) will host a free informational forum on state energy issues from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, August 27th at the Wallingford Senior Center located at 238 Washington Street, Wallingford, CT.

Senator Fasano will be joined by representatives from the Wallingford Electric Division to discuss statewide fuel assistance and conservation programs that can help consumers save money on their energy bills this winter. The forum is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

“People have a lot of questions about what the state is going to do to help offset the impact of skyrocketing fuel and home heating costs. The General Assembly is going to convene in special session soon to expand assistance programs and tax incentives for this purpose, but awareness is equally important. This forum is an opportunity for the people of Wallingford to learn about state and federal programs and tax breaks available to them, as well as simple conservation methods that can help them save money on their energy bills.”
