McKinney, Dickman, Stone, Tymniak to Welcome Governor Rell to Fairfield

Sen. John McKinney, R-28, and Reps. Carl J. Dickman, R-132, John “Jack” Stone, R-134, and
Cathy C. Tymniak, R-133 will be welcoming Governor M. Jodi Rell when she comes to Fairfield on Tuesday, September 7 th . Governor Rell’s visit to Fairfield is part of a series of “Open Houses” that have been held throughout the state that give residents the opportunity to meet Connecticut’s 87th Governor.

According to the legislators, Governor Rell will be on hand to meet residents in the Old Town Hall located at 611 Old Post Road in Fairfield from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

Said the legislators, “We are very to happy have Governor Rell come to Fairfield and meet with local residents. Governor Rell has done an extraordinary job reaching out to the public and listening to their concerns. We invite and encourage residents of Fairfield and surrounding towns to come out and introduce themselves to our new Governor.”
According to the Governor’s office, fourteen Open Houses have been held across the state, which have drawn thousands of people.
