Members of AFSCME Local 391 State Prison Employees Join Senator Kissel on “Senator Kissel & Friends ”

Senator John A. Kissel, R-Enfield, welcomes representatives of AFSCME Local 391 State Prison Employees on this month’s edition of ” Senator Kissel and Friends . ” Among his guests are Todd Sokolowski, Treasurer of Local 391, and Marie DeSousa, Executive Board Member and Political Committee Chair. This episode will be shown throughout the month of April.

“Senator Kissel & Friends” can be viewed on Cox Cable Channel 15 on Mondays at 9:30 p.m.

“This show is dedicated to the hard work and efforts of our local prison employees,” said Sen. Kissel. “The employees we have working at our prison facilities are such valuable members of our community. On this month’s program we will be discussing the numerous community activities that Local 391 is involved in and the causes that the union fights for on behalf of its members.”
The Connecticut State Employees Local 391 is located at 109 Elm Street (AAA Building), 2 nd Floor, in Enfield. For years union members have been involved in community activities such as the Boys and Girl Scouts and Little League along with contributions to the American Legion, the Enfield Community Center, Enfield Safe House, Enfield Adult Day Care and Enfield Food Shelf.
