Senator Kissel Features Enfield Rotary Club On “Senator Kissel & Friends” Cable Show

January 23, 2003

Senator John A. Kissel, R-Enfield, and members of the Enfield Rotary Club discuss the local civic organization’s plans to celebrate its 75th anniversary on the “Senator Kissel & Friends” cable program to be shown on Cox Cable through the end of February.

“Senator Kissel & Friends” is shown on Cox Cable Channel 15 on Mondays at 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Senator Kissel’s guests are Enfield Rotary Club President Chris Casey, along with vice president and incoming president Chris Leary, and past president and club historian Dave Drinan.

“It is an honor for me to have these wonderful, civic-minded people on my show to talk about their ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for Enfield residents. Their many projects earned the club a Connecticut Treasures Award from Lieutenant Governor M. Jodi Rell in 2000, and members continue to devote a considerable amount of time to worthwhile causes, including sponsoring a job shadowing program for high school students, awarding scholarships and helping its international chapter with its ongoing efforts to eradicate polio throughout the world. I am sure that viewers will find this show both informative and interesting,” said Senator Kissel.
