🐕💕👮🏻This week is Animal Control Officer
Appreciation Week, and I want to take a moment to recognize the dedicated Animal Control Officers across the 18th District and throughout Connecticut.
These officers work tirelessly to protect animals, reunite lost pets with their families, provide education to the community, and enforce local and state animal welfare laws. Their compassion and commitment often go unnoticed-but they are true advocates for those who can't speak for themselves.
A special thank you to the ACOs serving our communities in Groton, Stonington, North Stonington, Plainfield, Griswold, Preston, Sterling, and Voluntown. Your work makes a real difference, and we are grateful for your service!
