Henri Martin, elected to his 6th term in 2024, represents Connecticut’s 31st District. He serves as the Ranking Member on the Commerce Committee, the Higher Education Committee and the Committee on Children. Henri is a longtime small business owner in Bristol and has previously served that town as councilman and Acting Mayor.

⚡️Connecticut ratepayers deserve more relief for electric bills!
Today, I voted “yes” on S.B. 4 to cut $200 million from electric bills each year. It’s a long-overdue step forward, which cuts $100 million per year from public benefits charges and $100 million from delivery and transmission fees.
But this doesn’t solve the problem. Our electric rates are still too high, and residents are still feeling the squeeze.
We will continue to speak out to eliminate the public benefits charge completely and demand real, lasting relief for working families.
