Sen. Logan statement on anti-Semitic problems in Woodbridge

November 16, 2018

Sen. George S. Logan issued the following statement concerning the anti-Semitic problems in Woodbridge:

“We condemn racism and anti-Semitism in all its forms. As community leaders, we stand together – and stand united – in the face of hate. Students do not feel safe. That is unacceptable. I fully support Interim Superintendent of Schools James Connelly when he says this must be addressed so that Amity High becomes a model in dealing with bigotry and hate. I stand ready to work with Interim Superintendent Connelly on a long-term plan for substantive change which involves the district partnering with the religious leaders, advocacy groups such as the Anti-Defamation League, state and federal officials, youth groups and area residents. Hate must be rejected, and it will be rejected.”
