Free AARP Job Search Seminar Helps Older Job Seekers

Our ever advancing technologies change our daily lives, including how we search for jobs, and how employers search for and vet candidates.  Job seekers over 50 can find the new employment landscape daunting, especially if they haven’t looked for a new job in a while.

On September 25, AARP CT will conduct a free seminar on job searching in the digital age. The event will take place starting at 5:30 at the Blue Goose on Ferry Boulevard in Stratford. The evening will include information on free resources, the power of a personal brand, and networking with ease. It ends with a free buffet dinner and networking opportunities.
