Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 82 in Salem, Montville and Bozrah

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 82 in Salem, Montville, and Bozrah, beginning today Monday, July 16, 2018.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.32 mile segment of Route 82 in Salem, Montville, and Bozrah.  The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, July 16, 2018.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, to Monday, August 6, 2018.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 82 from Route 354 in Salem through Montville to South Road in Bozrah.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
