Toll Study

July 20, 2018

After 7 ½ years of failed, job-killing economic policies, Governor Malloy has decided to continue his tax and spend agenda by putting $10 million on the state’s credit card to fund a study for tolling roadways in Connecticut.

The legislature made it clear this legislative session there was no support for implementing tolls – ultimately just another tax on Connecticut residents like you. Through this executive order the governor has ignored the will of the legislature, and ultimately ignored the will of the Connecticut taxpayer.

The state Bond Commission is expected to vote on the $10 million allocation on Wednesday, July 25th. As a member of the state Bond Commission I will be voting NO on this proposal to charge $10 million on the state credit card.
