Roadwork Announced: Super-elevation Modifications and High Friction Surface Treatment Project on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich
This Applies Only to Greenwich Residents and Anyone Using the Merritt Parkway at Night or Early Morning

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced the start of a super-elevation modification and high friction surface treatment project on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich.

The purpose of the project is to improve traction and roadway geometry to reduce crashes and roadway departures. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 24, 2018.

Lane closures will occur on the northbound side between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and on the southbound side between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Please be prepared to reduce speed when entering the construction zone or seek an alternate route – use caution when driving in this vicinity.
