Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Southwest Connecticut

This applies only to those traveling on I-95 Northbound/Southbound between Greenwich and Bridgeport 

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 in Southwest Connecticut. The project will start today, Monday June 4th and continue through Tuesday, July 3rd. Regular work hours for this project will be from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. – lane closures will be required.

The project consists of bridge maintenance to various bridges on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Greenwich and Bridgeport.

Lane Closure Information

Motorists can expect right lane closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 2, Delavan Avenue in Greenwich and Exit 29, Stratford Avenue/Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. – Monday through Thursday evenings.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
