Pension Reform Is Necessary. This Amendment Is the First Step.

When I learned that a state employee will still receive his pension, even though he was convicted of raping two women while he was on the job, I knew I had to act. No state official or employee who commits such a heinous crime while in service to the state should receive a state pension.

I am happy to report that my fellow senators agreed with me. In the video below I talk about the amendment I introduced and the need for state employee pension reform. This action is a much needed first step.
