A Hamden taxpayer speaks his mind…

A Hamden resident recently submitted brief, effective testimony in opposition to Bill 5393, which would create an unelected Authority to operateelectronic tolling systems on CT highways.

He wrote that the new Authority would be “another line of government bureaucracy that will grow into another unaffordable entity to support yet another tax, a.k.a. tolls,  levied on the citizens of this state that are already stretched to the max. I ask you to please stop any progress of Bill 5393.”

  • Attend the public hearing on Bill 5393 on Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 1E of the Legislative Office Building.
