We Will Do What’s Right for Connecticut!

January 29, 2018

The Connecticut General Assembly will convene on Wednesday, January 31 to override Governor Malloy’s veto of funding for the state’s Medicare Savings Plan. This move will ensure that money is available for the more than 100,000 seniors and disabled residents who need help paying forMedicare-related expenses. For many of these recipients, the funding helps them stay in their homes, rather than be forced into a nursing home.

We have heard you loud and clear. We must protect our most vulnerable citizens.

My colleagues and I will always do what is right for our seniors and disabled residents, and for the State of Connecticut.

I hope you will continue contacting me about issues that are important to you.
