Fasano Response to Gov. Malloy Comments on Transportation Funding

Hartford – Senate Republican President Pro Tempore Len Fasano (R-North Haven) released the following in response to a statement issued by Governor Malloy’s office today regarding transportation funding.

“Let’s call the criticism of the Republican transportation funding plan what it is: partisan politics.  The governor does not like our plan because it was created by Republicans.  It is beyond irresponsible to criticize other people’s ideas that immediately fund critical transportation infrastructure projects when the governor and Democrat lawmakers have zero answers themselves besides calling for more taxes. It is pathetic. The governor clearly still doesn’t understand the ideas Republicans have put on the table, nor does he care because in his world the only ideas that matter are his own.”
