FROM YOUR SENATOR TONI BOUCHER

Friends,

This has been a difficult year for our state and nation, but I believe we still have so much to be thankful for. We live in a beautiful state with kind, generous, and talented people who I will continue to fight for every day. We live in the greatest nation in the world. We have the love of friends and family who help make our lives more meaningful.

I am especially thankful for you, my constituents, and to be your voice in Hartford. It is truly an honor to serve you.

Below, is information about the Metro-North Thanksgiving Holiday Timetable service for this week. I hope you find it useful.

On Wednesday (November 22nd), catch one of the early getaway trains which begin departing Grand Central around 1 PM. Because of reduced ridership, some evening trains may be cancelled or combined.

On Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 23rd), Metro-North will operate a modified weekend schedule with additional inbound trains for those of you heading to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Holiday Parade. There will be plenty of additional outbound services to get families home to the dinner table. See a special Holiday Timetable.

The Day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 24th), Metro-North will operate a Saturday schedule with additional trains inbound in the AM and outbound in the PM so you can take advantage of all those Black Friday sales.

On Saturday, November 25th and Sunday, November 26th Metro-North will provide regular weekend schedules with additional trains – remember Saturday is Small Business Saturday, so try to visit some local shops. See a special Holiday Timetable.

You can also find all train times on the new TrainTimeApp.

Off-peak fares are in effect for the entire four-day holiday, and you can take advantage of free parking at many stations. (Check for signs at stations or call 877-690-5114 for more information)

Metro-North recommends purchasing your tickets in advance. If you’re leaving New York after the parade, you must have your ticket before boarding your train at Grand Central or Harlem-125th Street Station.

The most up-to-date information on MTA service status is always available at www.mta.info.

Best wishes for a safe, healthy and enjoyable Thanksgiving . God Bless CT and the USA.
