Comments Sought for Route 7/15 Norwalk Project

November 13, 2017

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is seeking public input about the Route 7/15 Norwalk Project. The project’s purpose is to smooth traffic flow and create safer roads and better connections. Missing connections like the Route 7 North to Route 15 North, and Route 15 South to Route 7 South have cause heavy traffic and accidents in the area.

As Co-Chair of the legislature’s Transportation Committee, I am closely monitoring this project so that it has minimal impact on the community and does not lead to a revival of the Super 7 Projects that I have been fighting for 20 years.

The DOT is in the process of scoping the project. Input from you will help shape how it is developed, including evaluating any alternatives.

You can view the project website and all documents here.

I hope you will review the Route 7/15 Norwalk Project carefully and provide your input. Click on this link to make your comments and sign up for the project newsletter to stay informed.
