Will your town follow Middlefield’s lead?

October 18, 2017

Last night, the Middlefield Board of Selectmen took action on behalf of local property taxpayers.

They approved a resolution calling on state lawmakers to override Gov. Malloy’s veto of the bipartisan budget.

Which city or town will be next to follow Middlefield’s lead?

Which city or town will be next to say “NO” to huge property tax increases which will result from Gov. Malloy’s cuts?

In Cheshire, for example, homeowners could see property tax increases of $1,100 per year!

This doesn’t have to happen.

Please do the following:

  • Call the House Democrats during business hours at 860-240-8500. Tell them to “Vote to override Malloy’s veto.”
  • Call your town or city hall today.
  • Ask your City or Town Council to “Follow Middlefield’s lead!” and pass a resolution urging their state senator and state representatives to vote to override Malloy’s veto.
  • Email me at [email protected] to tell me how your phone calls go.

We’ve got to speak out now!

Thank you!
