(Listen) “$1,100 per year in NEW taxes!”

Today, I updated Lee Elci of 94.9 FM on why I have written to local leaders in Cheshire, Meriden, Middlefield, and Middletown.

I am urging them to pass resolutions to call upon state lawmakers to override the governor’s veto of the bipartisan state budget.

In Cheshire, for example, an override could help prevent a possible $1,100 a year tax hike.

That’s right:

$1,100 in NEW taxes!

I am asking you to please help me in this effort:

• Call House Democrats at 860-240-8500
• Call Senate Democrats at 860-240-8600
• Tell them to “Override Gov. Malloy”
