Help Keep Millstone Operating!

August 11, 2017

On Thursday August 17, 2017 the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) will hold a public hearing regarding Gov. Malloy’s executive order initiating a study of Millstone’s role in Connecticut.

This is an opportunity to share your perspective about the importance of Millstone Power Station in providing power, preserving jobs and keeping energy costs down. Millstone is a tremendous asset to Connecticut, providing over half the power that people use in our state every day. It also provides southeastern Connecticut with jobs and is an engine of economic growth for the entire state. Ensuring Millstone stays open is vital to Connecticut’s economy and residents.

Those who wish to testify may attend the public hearing on Thursday August 17, 2017 at 9:30 AM EPT in the Gina McCarthy Auditorium, 79 Elm Street, Hartford.
