Sen. Logan Tours Area Manufacturer; Meets Derby Student Intern

Sen. George S. Logan (center) on June 23 toured Stratford-based Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. to get an overview of the small manufacturer’s history, mission, workforce, and safety protocols. Bridgeport Fittings is a leading supplier of quality fittings to the industrial, commercial and residential channels of the electrical industry.

Logan, who serves on the state legislature’s Regulations Review Committee, is working with Stratford Sen. Kevin Kelly and other lawmakers at the State Capitol to help pass policies which help small businesses like Bridgeport Fittings thrive.

Logan said he was pleased to meet Derby resident Matt Hanock.  Hanock is a member of Emmitt O’Brien Technical High School’sClass of 2018 and is working as an intern at Bridgeport Fittings.
